Why have I been charged by the car hire company?

There are a few reasons why the car hire company might charge you direct.

When you pick up the car, you will pay the car hire company for additional drivers and extra equipment.

If you choose to buy aCarRentals.com Full Protection, we will provide the cover and you will pay us when you book. If you choose to buy cover at the counter when you pick up the car, the hire car company will provide the cover and you will pay them direct. After your hire, the car hire company may charge you for refuelling, parking tickets, fines or damage to the vehicle.

They should list any charges on the paperwork they give you (although some fines and parking tickets might arrive later).
